Fees & Policies

Therapy for everybody.

I believe therapy should be affordable and accessible for all.

I am committed to keeping my practice affordable for all. The cost for each 50-minute session is $150, but I offer a sliding scale for those in need. This means that we will determine a fee that is accessible for you to receive the care that you deserve.

I currently accept Medi-cal insurance, and provide super-bills for reimbursement through other insurance companies.

Practice Policies

  • Informed Consent for Psychotherapy

Therapy is a collaborative process between you and your therapist. Your opinions concerning this process are vital to its success. We will explore your goals and values to ensure the approach is tailored to help you make progress on what matters most to you. Any questions or feedback you may have are always welcome!

  • Appointments

I offer a free consultation either by phone, video or in-person to establish the right fit for you. Consistency is important for therapy to be most effective, but there is no one size fits all, and we will find what works best for you and your schedule. Please give 24-hours notice for cancellations.

  • Telehealth

During virtual appointments, I use HIPPA compliant telehealth platform Simple Practice to protect your privacy. Sessions will not be recorded. Meetings cannot be conducted while you are driving. Please ensure you are in a safe and confidential space. State law requires that you be physically located in California during the meeting.

  • Crisis Situations

I do not provide crisis intervention; If a true emergency situation arises, please call 988 for mental health crises, call 911, or go to your local emergency room. Please also notify me of the situation so I can consider how to best support you. I am available for regular consultation or check-in phone calls, but I may not be available right away.

  • Minors in Therapy

It’s best to have both parents/ guardians consent for therapy services for individuals under 18 years old. Therapy meetings with minors are typically confidential, with the exception of situations where there is a concern for their safety or the safety of others. I provide ongoing consultation regarding general progress and participation in therapy, and I encourage minor patients to share directly with family to empower them and develop communication skills. Family therapy sessions are also an effective way to facilitate this process!

  • Interactions Outside of Therapy

If I happen to see you outside of therapy, I will not acknowledge you first. Your right to privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance, and I do not wish to jeopardize your privacy. However, if you choose to acknowledge me first, I will be more than happy to speak briefly with you, but not regarding clinical topics.
